Abstract: The definition of a memristor was proposed by Professor L. O. Chua in 1971. However, only after the implementation of the real memristor at Hewlett-Packard Labs in 2008, there has been an increasing interest in memristor and its applications. The study of the nonlinear dynamics in memristive-based systems has received great attention in recent years. Numerous continuous memristor-based systems were investigated and reported such as memristive circuit, memristive FitzHugh-Nagumo circuit, four-wing memristive system, and so on. It is worth noting that the last three years have seen new research about discrete memristor maps. This talk presented the start-of-art of Memristor-based systems, especially discrete memristor maps
